Bareda waterfalls are  located at 82 kms to the North of Naqamte. The name "Bareda", meaning beautiful in Afaan Oromoo, depicts the neatness and beauty of Bareda River and its falls.  This water fall emerges from a natural chamber of rock of about 25 meters high and foams into a hallow surface forming a fascinating view.  The area along the stream  is covered by pristine river line forest, which shelters mammal species like: Colobus monkey, monkey and others. Bareda water fall would appeal to sightseers and nature admirers.
